I am out-of-network for all insurance, and I do not file insurance. I will provide you with a form that you can submit to your insurance company, and your insurance company will directly reimburse you as per your out-of-network benefits. One caveat to this is that I do not participate in the NC Health Information Exchange. Thus, if you are a State Health Plan insured, at some point in the future the State Health Plan will no longer reimburse you for your visits with me, even at their out-of-network rate.

I do not participate in Medicare or Medicaid. Per Medicare and Medicaid regulations, appointments with me cannot be submitted to either Medicare or Medicaid for reimbursement. Medicaid will not cover any prescriptions that I write, so Medicaid recipients have to pay out-of-pocket for any medications that I prescribe.

I require payment at the time of each appointment and accept cash, checks, and all major credit cards.

Current fees are as follows:

• Initial intake evaluation: $400
• Medication management, 20 to 30 minutes: $160
• Psychotherapy, 45 to 50 minutes: $240
• DBT skills training class: $90 for those using insurance/$50 for those who are not using insurance
